I had assumed this was going to be difficult. I figured that I would be exhausted. I thought that there would be a fair share of simple hard work. I’m not sure I knew how exhausting.
We are, in no specific order of importance, opening a new shop on the west coast, moving there with my family and a few co-workers, allowing our original facility in Farmington the move forward without my daily involvement, finding land, designing a home, building it, finding a school for Jake River, and overall beginning a bushel of new things.
I say that we climb a mountain for a fresh view. It doesn’t have to be a better view, but it does have to be fresh; renewing to our spirit and “awakening the sleeper within.”
So this is the journal of a fresh view. It is the story of our effort as a community, as a family, and my own as a man and leader, to carry out this adventure. It will cover the personal and the professional, concentrate on the home design, and celebrate the process.
